The 37 Hectare Amakpe Refinery Project Site is located at Ikot Usekong in Eket, about 12 km from the Exxon/Mobil Qua Iboe Terminal (QIT). The Phase 1 of the Amakpe Refinery Project Site Development has commenced, covering Site Clearing, Site and Soil definition & Water Well with Water Storage Tanks, Site Leveling and Storm Water System, Oily Water Drain System, Firewalls for Tank Farm and Refinery Internal Roads.

Other preliminary Site Developments will include Pre-Construction of Process Area, Tank Foundations, and Foundations for Pre-Engineered Project Buildings. The tasks in this Phase will further include the Installation of Pre-Engineered Project Buildings, Tank Farm Construction and other related Pre-Refinery P&M Installation Components.
