The 12,000 Barrels Per Day (BPD) Amakpe Refinery is being configured to process Qua Iboe Crude Oil, which is one of 10 streams of Nigerian Crude Oils. The Project is being implemented in 2 phases, with Phase 1 scheduled to start production by October 2008, with the manufacture and installation of a 6,000 BPD Crude Distillation Unit, 120,000 Barrels of Tank Farm capacity and other related and associated Support Equipment. Other Equipment and Structures will include Flare and Air Compression Systems, Pre-Engineered Factory and Office Buildings, Loading Facilities, 1.5MW Electricity Power Plant and local Infrastructure Support Facilities.
